Shapefile with Housing and Neighborhood Quality indicators for Massachusetts census tracts

The shapefile contains the following variables:
1.  OBJECTID    -       The unique ID for each record in the table

2.  ID          -       The GIS-compatible Geographic Identifier

3.  MEDVALUE    -       Estimated Median house value for 2000 (Source: Census 2000)

4.  Z_MEDVAL    -       z-score based on MEDVALUE (Formula: (MEDVALUE - Mean)/Standard Deviation)

5.  POV_RATE    -       Percentage of people below poverty for whom the poverty level has been determined by censustracts (Source: Census 2000)

6.  Z_POV       -       z-score based on POV_RATE (Formula: (POV_RATE - Mean)/Standard Deviation)

7.  ADJZ_POV    -       Adjusted Z-score based on Z_POV (Formula: -Z_POV)

8.  OWN_RATE    -       Percenatge of owner occupied homes in the given housing stock
                        (Formula: Owner occupied homes for 2000/Housing stock for 2000)

9.  Z_OWN       -       z-score based on OWN_RATE (Formula: (OWN_RATE - Mean)/Standard Deviation)

10. VAC_RATE_1  -       Ratio of vacant houses in the given housing stock 
                        (Formula:(Vacant housing units:  Other vacant)/H_UNITS(Housing stock for 2000))

11. Z_VAC_NEW   -       z-score based on VAC_RATE_1 (Formula: (VAC_RATE_1 - Mean)/Standard Deviation)

12. ADJZ_VAC_N  -       Adjusted Z-score based on Z_VAC_NEW (Formula: -Z_VAC_NEW)

13. COUNT_      -       Number of toxic release/ superfund sites within each censustract

14. TOTAL_ON_   -       Total waste generated and disposed to land on-site and offsite.
                        (Formula:Total_On_s + Total_Off)

15. Z_SITES     -       z-score based on SITES (Formula: (SITES - Mean)/Standard Deviation)

16. Z_REL       -       z-score based on TOTAL_ON_ (Formula: (TOTAL_ON_ - Mean)/Standard Deviation)

17. ADJZ_SITES  -       Adjusted Z-score based on Z_SITES (Formula: -Z_SITES)

18. ADJZ_REL    -       Adjusted Z-score based on Z_REL (Formula: -Z_REL)

19. OP_IND_REV  -       Opportunity Indicator/Cartegory

20. CRIME_RATE  -       Sum of Part 1 offenses per 1000 Population (Formula: TOT_CRIME/(POP2005/1000))

21. Z_CR_MA     -       Z-score based on CRIME_RATE (Formula: (CRIME_RATE - Mean)/Standard Deviation)

22. ADJZ_CR_MA  -       Adjusted Z-score based on Z_CR_MA (Formula: -Z_CR_MA)

23. Z_NBHD_ALT  -       Z-score for opportunity based on Housing and Neighborhood Indicators
